Utah Says Oops About About Law Regulating Trademarks & Search Ads

After warnings from their own State Attorney General that a law requiring the Utah specific registration of trademarks would likely violate the US Constitution's protections for interstate commerce and place an unfair burden on Search Engines Utah State legislators passed it last March. Belatedly they talked with Overstock, Yahoo, AOL, eBay and Google learning that of its adverse effects. Now they say oops!

Sirius Dumps Podshow - Satellite Radio Loses

Sirius, scrambling to make a business out of technology nobody wants, cut their support to Podshow instead of expanding support to podcasting in general. I agree with Paul Colligan, "The future of media is on-demand. Anyone not providing that is as vital to our future as black and white TV". Podshow may not be the best content provider, may burden its podcasts with terrible commericals and has the most god-awful website since '98, but it does have a bunch of on-demand content and Sirius doesn't.

Appleinsider now believes that Apple's "ultra-thin and lightweight notebook" with NAND flash may take more time than originally projected. Citing a maturing timeline, people familiar with the initiative now have the chic notebook tracking for the latter half of the year, with a contingency plan in place to transition the device into a Macworld 2008 product should engineers require the additional time.
