Books. My friend, Mary writes books, gets them published. She's in Chicago now, researching a historical period just before "WWI" (or should it be called the "Beginning of the 100 Years War" or perhaps "Another Chapter in the Continuing War") for a new book. I'm making a book with my friend, Mike, a picture book. I used to like books. Now, I only respect the content. I don't like the form. not easy to read - they need an external light source. Not easy to make the font-size big = they require you to use lenses on your eyes. Not easy to distribute - they require trucks, trains, planes. I like the content, but the form is a problem. Mary doesn't need to learn how to write and publish books, but maybe I do, maybe you do. If so, you might get something out of Advice for authors by Seth Godin
